OBDScope 1.71 Release Notes - October 7th 2012. =============================================== About OBDScope ============== OBDScope is a vehicle On-Board diagnostics (OBD) software for Symbian S60 smartphones. It works wirelessly with a Bluetooth OBD-II interface which is connected to a vehicle. The software uses the OBD-II interface to access the data available on the ECU of the vehicle. With OBDScope the data can be monitored in real-time and it can be logged to a file for further analysis. The trial period is seven days starting from the first successful connection to the vehicle. To switch the tab with Touch screen, use sweep right and sweep left function on the data items or on the empty list container. - Fuel economy reading may not be accurate with diesel operated vehicles. - Tracking the Fuel economy on diesel operated vehicle: select OBDScope -> Settings -> Vehicle settings -> Fuel type = Diesel, if available. If the Fuel type selection is not available, the type is detected automatically. NOTE: To obtain full accuracy, calibration of the Fuel economy tracking is absolutely required with diesel operated vehicles. The calibration process is described in OBDScope User's Guide. - Engine power and engine torque readings may not be accurate with diesel operated vehicles. - Disabling the VIN query at General settings may cause User defined Vehicle settings to disappear after reconnecting to the vehicle. Vehicle settings will reappear after enabling the VIN query and reconnecting to the vehicle.
